Tenuta San Guido is one of the most famous estates in Italy, thanks to its famous Sassicaia, a Super Tuscan.
Launched in 1968, Sassicaia quickly established itself as one of the best wines from Cabernet, able to compete with the greatest Bordeaux wines. The estate was the first in Italy to obtain its own DOC designation in 1983.
